Prime Minister Narendra Modi's followers on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) have reached an impressive milestone of 100 million. This places him ahead of many global leaders, including US President Joe Biden, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

While Modi's follower count is the highest among world leaders, it also eclipses the followings of numerous prominent figures from various fields. For instance, US President Joe Biden has 38.1 million followers, Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed has 11.2 million, Pope Francis has 18.5 million, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has 6.5 million, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has 2.4 million, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has 6,433 followers.

In the context of Indian leaders, PM Modi's follower count is unparalleled. AAP national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has 27.5 million followers, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has 26.4 million, Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav has 19.9 million, and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has 7.4 million. RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has 6.3 million followers, his son Tejashwi Yadav has 5.2 million, and NCP Chief Sharad Pawar has 2.9 million.

Even within the entertainment industry, PM Modi's social media presence is significant. He surpasses Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan (48.9 million followers), Shah Rukh Khan (44.1 million followers), and South Indian superstar Rajinikanth (6.4 million followers). On the global stage, he has more followers than celebrities like Taylor Swift (95.3 million), Lady Gaga (83.1 million), and Kim Kardashian (75.2 million).

In the world of sports, Modi also leads, with more followers than cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar (40.2 million), Virat Kohli (64.1 million), Brazilian footballer Neymar Jr (63.6 million), and American basketball star LeBron James (52.9 million).

PM Modi's follower growth on X has been remarkable, with an increase of approximately 30 million users over the last three years. Since joining the platform in 2009, Modi has used it effectively for constructive engagement, actively interacting with citizens and maintaining an approachable persona without blocking anyone.

This milestone underscores PM Modi's significant influence and engagement on social media, reflecting his global reach and popularity.
